“Kristine and her team got me through the absolute worst time of my life. Navigating through a divorce is painful to say the least. I chose a top notch lawyer who came highly recommended to me. Kristine did not disappoint. She was by my side from start to finish and She always had my back. 100% responsive and professional. Bar none I could not have picked a better partner. Started out as strangers and feel like I gained a friend. Love her and her entire team. She went above and beyond. Five stars does not do her justice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND KRISTINE!!!

Kristine strongly believes in the power of resolving disputes between parties whenever possible without the time and financial drains of prolonged litigation. Using creative, mindful, compassionate and intelligent solutions, Kristine navigates clients through their legal issues. Equipped with a relentless drive, Kristine cares deeply about her clients and their cases’ outcomes and wants to ensure each client comes out of a personal, family or business challenge stronger than they were when it began.

Kristine is a longtime proponent of transparency and has an exceptionally high standard of care for ethics, both within and outside of the legal profession.

After working at large Providence-and Boston-based firms, Kristine moved to Jamestown and opened her firm, Kristine S. Trocki, Attorney and Counsellor at Law, LLC in 2006. Since then, she has been dedicated to serving as a leader for her clients and the Jamestown community.

Kristine served as the President of the Jamestown Town Council from 2012-2018, was on the Board of the Jamestown RI Chamber of Commerce for more than half a dozen years, served as a RI Volunteer Lawyer, a Moot Court Volunteer for the Navy’s annual competition, served on the Board of Trustees and was PTL President (2008-2010), as well as, Moot Court Coach, of Rocky Hill School. Kristine’s fiercely competitive spirit can be found not only in the courtroom and with opposing counsel, but also sometimes while simply playing a friendly board game with family and friends.

Kristine and her husband, Ray, love to share many adventures and travels together - whether it is camping in their RV, day trips on a boat, a local weekend getaway on their electric bikes, cruising and world travels to fun and faraway places or just exploring and enjoying the quiet beauty of their island home with dogs Scout and Atticus.

Kristine’s “Happy Places” include reading at Mackerel Cove, entertaining on her back patio, snorkeling in Grand Cayman, riding the adventure rides at Disney/Universal and being on the water or the beach just about anywhere.

Kristine has a dog, Atticus, a Leonberger, that weighs more than she does at 165lbs, while her older yellow lab, Scout, is clearly “in charge” despite the fact she weighs half as much at 75lbs. You can often find the whole family on walks at the Jamestown Battery.

When Kristine was a child, she was a competitive gymnast, swimmer and active sports enthusiast. Kristine, now in her mid 50s, can still do a cartwheel, back bend, crow’s pose and back flips in the ocean.

During Covid, Kristine became a self-taught bartender using her garden's herbs to make specialty craft cocktails.

Craziest adventures include: Zip lining in Icy Strait Point, Alaska from the top of the mountain to the beach in 90 seconds, riding in an old converted NATO missile launcher to hike on and go 40 meters under a Glacier in Iceland, riding a camel on the ocean and in the desert, hard core white water rafting in New Zealand, climbing Machu Picchu, and stepping over and snorkeling around sea lions, marine iguanas, giant land turtles, penguins, sharks, blue footed boobies, albatross, flamingoes and through thousands of fish and exotic marine life in the Galapagos Islands.
